Boy Scouts of America was founded in 1910 by Lord Baden-Powell, Daniel Beard and Ernest Seton. In the United States today, there are over 2 million boys involved with the Boy Scouts. In Monroe County, we have over 300 active boys. The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
